What should I do if my city is not there in the selected cities when I am searching for accommodation or second hand goods? Please fill up a request form to add your city. You can view the form at top right “Request to add”. How do I post any information on the forum? There are many ways to post and share information, You can post information regarding: Accommodation: For accommodation, you can click the menu item names "Accommodation" on the bottom right side. This opens up specific menus to rent or share. You can post your requirement or advertisement in this section, after logging in. Events: For posting events, click on the "General Discussion" menu on the left. Then click the "Events" sub menu from below. You have to log-in to be able to put the notice of any event. Trading Merchandises: The information of selling a particular item can be posted by clicking the concerned item category under the "Sell" menu. Only registered InstiBuzz members can post items for sale at the website. Sharing a Ride: To cut down on your travel costs, instibuzz also offers ‘ sharing a ride’ feature, where you can look out for getting a lift/giving a lift . Apart from this, you can also have a discussion at: Discussion Forums: Discussion Forums enable you to discuss any topic of your liking with your peers. You can view the Discussion Forum by clicking the menu "General Discussion" and then clicking the sub-menu "Discussion Forum". How can I post the information I only want people of my institute to see ? At InstiBuzz, we respect your privacy. Hence we empower you to post any information which people from only your institute can see. This can be done by choosing the option to display it only in your institute. Similarly, you can restrict your post to be viewable by the people in your city as well as by all the people in the country. How do I Buy/Sell a second hand mobile? First you have to login in www.instibuzz.com, then click on the “Transact Goods” on bottom left or the “Buy “ or “Sell” ( as the case may be ) tab at the top right on the left side. On clicking this, you would see a list of product categories. Click on "Mobiles". On clicking this, you will see a list of all the available mobiles in your institution. If you want to choose a seller from any other institute, click the drop down above to select another institute. The list of people selling mobiles from that institute will be refreshed automatically.If a buyer is interested, he can press on “ Check Details” and intimate the seller. You have to fill in the details like its geographical location (city), number of bedrooms, expected rent, whether the price is negotiable and other descriptions of the place. After doing this, click the "Post Button".If a person is interested in your post, he can press on “ Check Details” and intimate the you. How do I search for a place to rent, or share? First you have to login in www.instibuzz.com, then click on the “Share Accomodation” on bottom right or Accommodation tab at the top middle of the home page. On clicking this, you would see a list of accommodation categories. Click on "Search Acco" or "Post acco" depending on whether you want to search a posted accommodation or post the add for an accommodation you have. This will give a search form, in which you have to enter the details of the place that you desire. Click on the "Search" button to search for the available places that meet your expectations. I am moving to a different city. Can I search for rental/sharing options in that area? Yes, all you have to do is search the locations for that city. This you can do by changing the "City" dropdown in the tab for searching places for renting/sharing. How do I post events that are happening in my institute/city? First you have to login in www.instibuzz.com, then take your mouse over “Notify/Dicuss” on the top display bar . You will now see a drop down with an option called "Events". Click that option. On clicking that, you will see a form which you have to fill to give the details of the event. You can give a name to your event, the venue, the starting and ending times of the event, as well as description. You can also choose to display your event at institute, city or national level.
